The Schneider Electric TeSys K LC1K12106FLS207 is a 3-pole contactor rated for motor control under AC-3 duty at 12 A up to 440 V, with a 110 V DC low-consumption coil that includes an integral suppression device. It also carries AC-1, AC-3e, and AC-4 utilisation categories, so it handles resistive loads and mixed motor duties beyond the standard AC-3 curve. The 1 NO instantaneous auxiliary contact is built in, saving a separate aux block on simple circuits.
The electrical durability at 1.3 Mcycles under those same AC-3 conditions tells you the switching life before the main poles wear out. For resistive loads (AC-1), it carries 20 A and delivers 0.3 Mcycles. The mechanical durability of 30 Mcycles far exceeds the electrical life, so the coil and mechanism outlast the contacts in normal motor duty. The 110 V DC coil draws 1.8 W hold-in power and has a wide operational voltage range of 0.7 to 1.3 Uc, with dropout below 0.1 Uc. That means it stays pulled in through moderate supply dips but drops out cleanly on a hard undervoltage. The integrated suppression eliminates the need for an external flyback diode or RC snubber across the coil — one less part on the BOM and one less wiring step. Minimum switching capability is 5 mA at 17 V for the signalling circuit, so the auxiliary contact can reliably switch PLC-level dry signals, not just power loads. The signalling circuit is rated for frequencies up to 400 Hz, which covers most control transformer and DC-DC converter outputs.
At 45 mm wide, 58 mm tall, and 57 mm deep, it fits a standard panel footprint and leaves room for a thermal overload relay on the same rail. The power circuit uses lugs-ring terminals with an external diameter of 7 mm, torqued to 0.8–1.3 N·m using a 3.2 mm flat or Philips No. 2 screwdriver. The IP20 finger-safe protection (per VDE 0106) means it's suitable for enclosed panels where operators reach in for maintenance.
