The LC1K1601FC72: Motor power capability spans 4 kW at 480 V AC up to 7.5 kW at 380–415 V AC, covering common three-phase motor sizes across 50/60 Hz supplies. The coil includes a built-in bidirectional peak limiting diode suppressor, so you don't need to add external suppression for the contactor coil.
The 16 A AC-3 rating is the motor-switching current — that's the figure that governs contactor selection for squirrel-cage motors. AC-1 (resistive) rating is higher but less relevant for motor loads; the part carries both utilisation categories. The 1 NC auxiliary is already wired in, saving a slot on the DIN rail. Heat dissipation is 1.3 W — low enough that you can pack multiple contactors in a small enclosure without worrying about thermal buildup. Flame retardance is V1 per UL 94, which is the standard for panel-mounted components.
