Rated AC-3 at 9 A up to 440 V, it handles reversing duty on small three-phase motors (pumps, conveyors, fans) where the load cycles direction under full current. The 230-240 VAC coil is standard for European panel voltages; the 1 NC auxiliary gives a positive break signal for the safety circuit or PLC feedback.
AC-3 at 9 A is the motor-switching rating — this contactor makes and breaks the locked-rotor current of a small motor (up to about 2.2 kW at 400 V). The AC-4 rating covers inching and plugging duty, where the contactor opens under full load; if your application does frequent reversing under load, derate accordingly. AC-1 at 20 A (resistive) gives headroom for heater banks or lighting. The IP20 finger-safe terminals keep panel builders out of trouble, but the contactor body itself is not washdown-rated — mount it inside a cabinet.
Integration notes
The preassembled reversing busbar saves panel space and eliminates one interlock wiring step. Coil draw at 230 VAC is around 7 VA pickup, 4 VA hold — a PLC relay output drives it directly with a snubber. Storage range -50 to 80 °C, operating -25 to 50 °C.
