The LC3F150M7 is a pre-wired star delta starter from the Schneider TeSys F range, built for three-phase induction motor starting where reduced inrush current is needed. The motor power it can manage depends on the supply voltage: 69 kW at 220/230 V AC, 130 kW at 380/400 V AC, and 173 kW at both 415 V and 440 V AC, all at 50/60 Hz. The control circuit is fixed at 230 V AC 50/60 Hz, with a coil that holds in at 45 VA (50 Hz) and drops out between 0.35 and 0.55 Uc.
AC-3 covers starting and plugging of squirrel-cage motors, so the 150 A is the continuous current the main poles carry during running, not the starting surge.
Where this starter is used
This is a plate-mounted, pre-wired assembly, not a DIN-rail component. The mounting support is a plate, and the power connections are via M8 bolted lugs or busbars (25 x 3 mm cross-section). The control circuit uses screw clamp terminals accepting 1 to 4 mm² flexible or solid wire. The IP20 front face protection with shrouds means it is safe for finger contact inside an enclosure but not for washdown environments. It is sized for motor control centres or dedicated starter panels where the star-delta transition timing is set by the 20-second starting time and the 23 to 35 ms closing / 5 to 15 ms opening operating times.
The LC3F150M7 is designed and certified to IEC 60947-1, EN 60947-1, EN 60947-4-1, IEC 60947-4-1, and JIS C8201-4-1. The rated insulation voltage is 1000 V per IEC 60947-4-1 and 1500 V per VDE 0110 group C. The protective treatment is TH (tropicalised), which means it is suitable for humid or corrosive atmospheres without additional conformal coating.
