The Schneider Electric TeSys F LC3F265FE7 is a pre-wired star delta starter designed for motor control applications. It integrates three contactors (star, line, delta) with an internal interlocking scheme, ready for plate mounting. Motor power capability spans 110 kW at 220/230 V up to 250 kW at 440 V AC, 50/60 Hz. The control circuit is 115 V AC 50/60 Hz, with an inrush power of 650 VA and a hold-in consumption of 10 VA. Closing time is 40...65 ms; opening takes 100...170 ms.
The 265 A AC-3 rating at ≤55 °C is the headline number for motor starting. Below that temperature, the contactor set handles the locked-rotor and acceleration current of a squirrel-cage motor. The rated making capacity is 2650 A and the breaking capacity is 2120 A, both per IEC 60947-4-1 — these are the transient fault-clearing figures that matter when a motor stalls or a phase shorts. The front face with shrouds carries IP20 protection per IEC 60529 and VDE 0106, suitable for enclosed panel mounting. Plate mounting is required — no DIN-rail clip. Power connections use M10 bolts, accepting lugs or busbars up to 32 x 4 mm or cable up to 240 mm². Control wiring uses screw clamp terminals accepting 1...4 mm² flexible or solid wire.
The LC3F265FE7 is designed and tested to IEC 60947-4-1 and EN 60947-4-1, the core standards for contactors and motor-starters. Rated insulation voltage is 1000 V per IEC 60947-4-1 and 1500 V per VDE 0110 group C. The protective treatment is TH (tropicalized) for humid environments.
