The Schneider Electric LC3F265FE7A64 is a pre-wired TeSys F star delta starter, built for motor control in the AC-3 utilisation category. It's rated for 265 A operational current at ≤440 V AC, which means it handles the inrush and run current of a motor started star-delta — the 265 A figure is the line current during delta-run, not the start. Motor power capability reaches 220 kW at 380/400 V AC and 250 kW at 440 V AC. The control circuit is 115 V AC at 50/60 Hz, with an operational voltage window of 0.85 to 1.1 Uc and a drop-out range of 0.35 to 0.55 Uc. Coil inrush is 650 VA at 40–400 Hz, cos φ 0.9 at 20 °C. Closing time runs 40–65 ms; opening is 100–170 ms. That's a deliberate delay — the star-to-delta transition needs the opening time to ensure the star contactor drops before the delta contactor picks up.
Plate-mounted, not DIN rail. The footprint is 625 mm wide × 110 mm high × 266 mm deep — that's a substantial assembly, sized for the three contactors (star, line, delta) and the interlocking mechanism. Power connections use M10 bolts, bar or lug terminals up to 240 mm². Control wiring is screw clamp, accepting 1 to 4 mm² flexible or solid. Tightening torque is 35 N·m on the power circuit, 1.2 N·m on control. The auxiliary contact complement is already wired in: 1 NC + 1 NO on the star contactor (KM1), 2 NC + 1 NO on the line contactor (KM2), and 1 NC + 2 NO on the delta contactor (KM3). That covers the interlocking and signalling for a standard star-delta sequence without adding external auxiliaries. Mechanical interlocking between the star and delta contactors is built in.
Designed and tested to IEC 60947-4-1, EN 60947-4-1, IEC 60947-1, EN 60947-1, and JIS C8201-4-1. Rated insulation voltage is 1000 V per IEC 60947-4-1, 1500 V per VDE 0110 group C. Breaking capacity is 2120 A; making capacity is 2650 A, both conforming to IEC 60947-4-1. Front face carries IP20 protection with shrouds fitted, per IEC 60529 and VDE 0106.
