It switches three-phase induction motors from 110 kW at 220/230 V up to 250 kW at 440 V, making it a direct fit for medium-to-large pump, fan, and compressor applications where reduced inrush current during start-up is required. The 220/230 V AC 50/60 Hz control circuit pulls 650 VA inrush at 20 °C; the coil holds at 0.85 to 1.1 Uc and drops out between 0.35 and 0.55 Uc. The unit is rated for 1000 V insulation (IEC 60947-4-1) and 1500 V per VDE 0110 group C, with a breaking capacity of 2120 A and making capacity of 2650 A per IEC 60947-4-1. Associated fuse protection is 400 A gG or 315 A aM up to 440 V.
Mounts on a plate (not DIN rail), with bolted power connections via M10 bolts or ring terminals up to 240 mm². The power circuit uses bar connections with a 32 x 4 mm busbar cross-section. Control wiring uses screw clamp terminals accepting 1 to 4 mm² flexible or solid conductors. The front face achieves IP20 with shrouds per IEC 60529 and VDE 0106.
