The 330 A AC-3 rating governs motor switching — it is the current the main poles can make and break under motor load (inductive, not resistive). The associated fuse recommendation is 500 A gG or 400 A aM at ≤ 440 V, so the upstream protection must match that curve. Breaking capacity is 2640 A and making capacity 3300 A per IEC 60947-4-1, which covers most industrial distribution faults. Auxiliary contacts are built in: 1 NO + 1 NC on the star contactor (KM1), 1 NO + 2 NC on the line contactor (KM2), and 2 NO + 1 NC on the delta contactor (KM3).
