It is rated for utilisation categories AC-1, AC-3, AC-3e, and AC-4, making it suitable for resistive loads, motor switching, and mixed loads in industrial control panels. The 110 V DC coil draws 19 W inrush at 20 °C, with an operating time of 20 ms opening and 50 ms closing. The coil is standard — no built-in suppressor — so you will need to add an external flyback diode or RC snubber across the coil for inductive load switching. Rated insulation voltage is 600 V (UL/CSA certified) and 690 V per IEC 60947-1. The contactor carries an IP20 rating on the front face, suitable for enclosed panel mounting on plate or DIN rail.
The 60 A AC-1 rating (resistive load) is the thermal current (Ith) at 50 Hz, with an average impedance of 1.5 mOhm per pole. For motor loads, the AC-3 rating governs — this contactor switches 3-phase induction motors up to the rated current without welding the main poles. The AC-3e rating extends this for energy-efficient motors with higher inrush. The associated fuse recommendation is 80 A gG type 2 coordination at ≤ 690 V. Mechanical durability is 10 million cycles; electrical durability is 1.4 million cycles at 60 A AC-1 at ≤ 440 V. Maximum operating rate is 3600 cycles per hour at 60 °C. For safety applications, the B10d value is 1,369,863 cycles at nominal load and 20 million cycles with mechanical load per EN/ISO 13849-1.
Mounts on plate or DIN rail. Dimensions are 182 mm depth, 85 mm width, 127 mm height — fits standard TeSys D footprint. Power circuit connections use lugs-ring terminals with 13 mm outer diameter; control circuit uses 8 mm lugs-ring terminals. Tightening torque is 5 N·m for power circuit (M5 screw) and 1.2 N·m for control circuit (M3.5 screw). No protective cover is included — order separately if needed. The contactor is TH-treated per IEC 60068-2-30 for tropical environments. Fire resistance is 850 °C per IEC 60695-2-1; flame retardance is V1 per UL 94.
