TeSys Deca 4-pole for resistive loads

That means it's the right call for heater banks, lighting contactors, and resistive oven control, not for across-the-line motor starting. The built-in bidirectional peak limiting diode suppressor on the DC coil saves you an external snubber and one DIN slot. Rated AC-1 at 60 A with an electrical durability of 1.4 million cycles at that load, it'll outlast most panels on a cycling oven or furnace line. Mechanical durability hits 10 million cycles, so moving parts stay tight through the machine's service life. Operating time is 4 to 19 ms opening, 12 to 26 ms closing – fast enough for interlock sequencing without hammering the contacts. And with a breaking capacity of 800 A at 440 V, it clears a fault if something goes wrong downstream.

Pollution degree 3 rating means it shrugs off conductive dust and factory air. Power circuit terminals accept wire from 2.5 to 25 mm² flexible or solid, with screw clamp torque at 8 N·m (70.8 lbf·in). Control circuit terminals are smaller – 1 to 4 mm², torqued to 1.7 N·m.
