The Schneider Electric TeSys K LP1K09008LD is a 4-pole contactor with a 2 NO + 2 NC pole configuration, rated for 20 A in AC-1 utilisation category (resistive loads) at up to 690 V AC 50/60 Hz on the power circuit. The coil is 200 V DC. Rated breaking capacity reaches 110 A at 415 V, 440 V, 220…230 V, and 380…400 V per IEC 60947; 80 A at 500 V; and 70 A at 660…690 V. The conventional free-air thermal current (Ith) is 20 A at 50 °C for the power circuit.
The 20 A AC-1 rating means this contactor is sized for resistive loads — heaters, lighting banks, or non-inductive circuits — not for motor starting. AC-1 is the least demanding switching duty; if your BOM calls for motor loads (AC-3), this part is underspecified. The 2 NO + 2 NC pole arrangement gives flexibility for interlocking or auxiliary switching within the same package. Rated insulation voltage (Ui) is 690 V per IEC 60947-4-1 and 600 V per UL 508 / CSA C22.2 No 14, with an impulse withstand voltage (Uimp) of 8 kV. Overvoltage category III means it's suitable for fixed-installation distribution panels, not for surge-prone outdoor feeders.
Safety reliability data is published: B10d = 1,369,863 cycles for the contactor with nominal load per EN/ISO 13849-1, and B10d = 20,000,000 cycles with mechanical load only. This supports SIL/PL assessments for safety circuits using the NC mirror contacts.
Mounts on rail or plate. Screw-clamp terminals accept a Philips No 2 or flat 6 mm screwdriver at 1.3 N·m torque. Maximum operating rate is 3600 cycles per hour.
