The Schneider Electric LP1K0901QD is a TeSys K series contactor with 3 normally open poles, rated 9 A in AC-3 utilisation category at up to 440 V. That AC-3 rating covers switching of squirrel-cage motors — starting, stopping, and plugging — so the 9 A figure is the motor-load current it handles, not a resistive-heater current. The coil is 174 V DC, with inrush and hold-in power both at 3 W at 20 °C. The contactor also carries AC-1 (resistive) and AC-4 (inching/plugging) utilisation categories, giving flexibility for non-motor loads or high-stress motor duty. The single normally closed auxiliary contact is built in, so no add-on block is needed for basic interlock or status feedback.
The LP1K0901QD uses the standard 45 mm width footprint common to the TeSys K series.
