The coil pulls in on 200 V DC, and there's one NC auxiliary contact built in for status feedback or a holding circuit.
The AC-3 rating is the one that matters for motor starting — 12 A at 440 V means it'll switch a 5.5 kW motor (roughly 7.5 HP) on a 400 V line without welding the contacts. AC-4 covers inching and plugging if you need it. The 690 V max operational voltage gives headroom for 480 V or 600 V systems, but the AC-3 current drops above 440 V — check the derating curve if you're running at 600 V. The 200 V DC coil is less common than 24 V or 110 V; make sure your control transformer or DC supply is set for that voltage before you spec it in.
It's a DIN-rail-mount contactor, 57 mm deep by 90 mm wide by 58 mm tall — fits a standard TS35 rail. The preassembled reversing busbar saves you the headache of cross-wiring two contactors and a mechanical interlock; just land your line and load wires. Ambient range is -25 to 50 °C, so it's fine in a ventilated enclosure on the floor.
