The AC-3 rating at 12 A and 440 V is the motor-switching figure that governs real-world fit: it covers reversing duty on motors up to roughly 5.5 kW at 400 V (standard 4-pole induction motor). The AC-1 rating (resistive load) would be higher, but for motor control the AC-3 number is the one that decides. IP20 finger-safe protection (VDE 0106) means it's suitable for enclosed panels where operators might reach near the terminals. Flame retardance meets UL 94 V1 and NF F 16-101, so it passes rail and industrial fire-safety requirements.
It handles 2000 m altitude without derating. Mechanical robustness is specified per IEC 60068-2-27 and -2-6: 15 Gn shock on Z axis when closed, 10 Gn when open; vibration resistance of 4 Gn closed, 2 Gn open across 5–300 Hz. That's typical for industrial panel mounting — it won't drop out on a vibrating conveyor line. The 57 mm depth, 90 mm width, and 58 mm height fit a standard DIN-rail footprint alongside other TeSys K accessories.
