Product details

The Schneider Electric LP2K1201MP3 is a TeSys K reversing contactor — a 3-pole, 3 NO main pole device preassembled with a reversing power busbar, designed for control of resistive loads and motor control in AC-1, AC-3, and AC-4 utilisation categories. It carries a 230 V DC coil and one NC auxiliary contact, rated for AC-3 motor switching up to 12 A at 440 V. The IP20 finger-safe enclosure (per VDE 0106) suits panel-mount integration where personnel access is controlled.

The AC-3 rating of 12 A at 440 V governs contactor life when switching induction motors. The 230 V DC coil draws continuous current and requires proper suppression. IP20 is dry-panel only. Operating altitude is 2000 m without derating.

Mechanical and environmental robustness

Rated for 15 Gn shock on Z axis when closed (11 ms pulse per IEC 60068-2-27), and 4 Gn vibration at 5–300 Hz when closed. Storage temperature spans –50 to 80 °C, operating –25 to 50 °C. Flame retardance meets V1 per UL 94 and NF F 16-101/102, making it suitable for rail and industrial panel applications where fire safety is specified.
