Overview

The LR3D318 is a TeSys Deca non-differential thermal overload relay from Schneider, rated Class 10A per IEC 60947-4-1 and carrying 1 NO + 1 NC auxiliary contacts for trip and alarm signalling. It mounts directly on LC1D40A, LC1D65A, and LC1D50A contactors; power-circuit EverLink BTR screw connectors torque to 44.3 lbf.in (5 N.m) and accept up to 35 mm² cable.

Protection characteristics

Phase-failure sensitivity trips at 130 % of Ir on two phases with the third at zero, and the tripping threshold is fixed at 1.14 ± 0.06 Ir — no adjustable dial, so set the motor FLA at the contactor selection stage.
