The LUCB12B is the control unit brains in the TeSys Ultra system for motor protection. It handles AC-44 duty, so it's comfortable with high-inrush motor loads. Pair it with an LUB12 control circuit for a clean 24 V AC pick-up. Manual reset means someone has to hit the button after a trip—no auto-restart on a line that could cycle unexpectedly. Protection suite: overload with Class 10 tripping (good for standard motor starts), phase failure sensitivity, and earth fault detection. Short-circuit protection is built in as well, with a tripping threshold of 14.2 x Ir ±20%. Operating speed: 35 ms opening, 70 ms closing. Fast enough for most motor starting/stopping cycles.
