The LUCB1XBL is the plug-in advanced control unit for the TeSys Ultra motor management system. It integrates overload, short-circuit, phase failure, and earth fault protection into a single 1.8″ wide module. Communication-ready, it suits basic and advanced motor control applications in MCCs.

Rated for utilization categories AC-41, AC-43, and AC-44, it handles resistive, low-inductive, and high-inductive motor loads — AC-44 covers severe inrush and plugging duty. The 14.2 x Ir trip threshold gives short-circuit protection that coordinates with upstream breakers. Immunity to microbreaks of 3 ms and voltage dips down to 70% for 500 ms means the unit rides through common line disturbances without nuisance tripping. The manual reset forces an operator check after a fault, avoiding automatic restart on a live hazard.
