The SH31401P01A2200: Rated continuous power is 2900 W, but the torque and speed curve shifts with the supply. On three-phase 400 V you get 9.2 N·m at 3000 rpm; on 480 V three-phase it's 8.4 N·m at 3600 rpm. Single-phase 115 V drops to 10.95 N·m at 750 rpm, and 230 V single-phase gives 10.6 N·m at 1500 rpm. The peak stall torque across the three-phase range is 27 N·m. Continuous stall torque is 11.1 N·m at 7.8 A, and the torque constant is 1.43 N·m/A measured at 120°C copper temperature — that's the hot winding value, so the motor delivers that torque after it reaches thermal equilibrium, not just cold.
Absolute single-turn SinCos Hiperface encoder — no homing on power-up
The encoder is an absolute single-turn SinCos Hiperface type — it knows the shaft position within one revolution as soon as power is applied, so the drive doesn't need a homing sequence after a power cycle. That saves startup time on packaging lines or pick-and-place cells where the machine must resume position immediately. The electrical connection uses a rotatable right-angled connector — you can orient the cable exit in the field without disassembling the motor. Combined with the smooth shaft (no keyway) and the international standard flange (140 mm centring collar, 24 mm shaft diameter), mounting alignment is straightforward.
IP65 motor, IP67 housing — washdown-ready without a cover
The motor body is IP65 per IEC 60034-5, and the housing (likely the connector area) is rated IP67. That means the motor withstands hose-down cleaning in food or beverage lines — no need for a secondary cover. Cooling is natural convection, so there's no fan to clog or fail.
