Motor ratings and supply dependence
The SH31401P02F1100 is a three-phase servo motor from the SH3 series, delivering 2.9 kW continuous power at 400 V three-phase supply. Nominal speed shifts with the supply: 3000 rpm at 400 V three-phase, 3600 rpm at 480 V three-phase, and lower speeds on single-phase inputs. Nominal torque also varies by supply — 9.2 N.m at 400 V three-phase, 8.4 N.m at 480 V three-phase, and higher values on lower-voltage single-phase supplies.
Brake and encoder for position hold
A holding brake is integrated, rated at 23 N.m holding torque — sufficient to hold vertical-axis loads without a separate mechanical brake. The absolute multiturn SinCos Hiperface encoder provides position feedback without a home cycle after power loss, reducing commissioning time on multi-axis machines.
Environmental and mechanical fit
The motor mounts on an international standard flange with a 140 mm flange size and a 130 mm centring collar; the smooth shaft (24 mm diameter, 50 mm shaft length) mates with standard couplings or pulleys. Natural convection cooling eliminates the need for a fan or external air supply, simplifying installation in confined enclosures.
