What drives the speed-torque curve on this motor?
The SH31401P12F1000 is a three-phase servo motor whose nominal speed depends on the supply voltage: 750 rpm at 115 V single phase, 1500 rpm at 230 V single phase, 3000 rpm at 400 V three phase, and 3600 rpm at 480 V three phase. That means the same motor covers a wide speed range, but the torque available at each speed also shifts — nominal torque drops from 10.95 N.m at 115 V to 8.4 N.m at 480 V three phase. Continuous power is 2900 W, with peak stall torque reaching 27 N.m for short-term acceleration. The holding brake delivers 23 N.m, which holds a vertical load without power — no external brake resistor needed for static holding.
Encoder feedback and position loop
