Speed-torque curve depends on supply voltage
The SH31402P02A1200: This motor delivers different nominal speed and torque depending on the supply: at 400 V three-phase, nominal speed is 3000 rpm with 12.3 Nm torque and 3860 W output power; at 480 V three-phase, speed rises to 3600 rpm with 9.7 Nm and 3660 W. The continuous stall torque is 19.5 Nm across the 115–480 V three-phase range, with a peak stall torque of 60.1 Nm — useful for acceleration and overload events.
Encoder and feedback — absolute multiturn Hiperface
The absolute multiturn SinCos Hiperface encoder retains position through power cycles, eliminating the need for a homing sequence after each power-up. This reduces commissioning time on multi-axis lines. The torque constant is 1.47 Nm/A at 120 °C copper temperature, and the back EMF constant is 101 V/krpm at 20 °C — both needed for drive tuning and voltage margin calculations.
Environmental sealing and mechanical interface
IP65 on the motor body and shaft bushing, IP67 on the housing per IEC 60034-5 — this motor withstands washdown environments common in food processing and packaging lines. The 140 mm flange with 130 mm centring collar and 24 mm smooth shaft (50 mm shaft length) mates to standard international mounting patterns. No holding brake is fitted, so the application must provide external braking or hold via the drive.
