Continuous power is rated at 4050 W under the same supply condition. On a 480 V three-phase line, nominal speed rises to 3600 rpm, torque drops to 80.5 lbf·in (9.1 N·m), and output power settles at 3430 W. Peak stall torque reaches 798.3 lbf·in (90.2 N·m) across the 115–480 V three-phase range, with a continuous stall torque of 246.05 lbf·in (27.8 N·m) and a continuous stall current of 17.6 A. The maximum mechanical speed is 4000 rpm, so the motor can overspeed the nominal rating by about 33% before hitting the mechanical limit.
Encoder feedback and electrical interface
The motor carries an absolute single-turn SinCos Hiperface encoder, giving position feedback without needing a battery-backed multi-turn count. The electrical connection uses a rotatable right-angled connector, which helps route the cable in tight cabinet spaces without stressing the gland. Stator resistance is 0.4 Ω and inductance is 7.72 mH, with a torque constant of 1.58 N·m/A at 120 °C copper temperature. The back-EMF constant is 105 V/krpm at 20 °C, which sets the voltage ceiling for the drive's bus at higher speeds.
Mechanical fit and environmental protection
The motor flange is an international standard 140 mm (5.5 in) size with a centring collar of 130 mm diameter and 3.5 mm depth, four mounting holes on an 11 mm diameter bolt circle. Overall length is 327.5 mm (12.9 in) with a 24 mm smooth shaft extending 50 mm. IP65 protection covers the motor body and shaft bushing per IEC 60034-5, with IP67 on the housing — meaning the motor withstands hose-directed water and temporary immersion, suitable for washdown environments. Cooling is by natural convection, so no external fan or coolant circuit is needed.
