EasyPact Solar MCCB — 125 A, 50 kA at 800 V AC
The Schneider Electric SOL40N3E125 is a 3-pole EasyPact Solar MCCB rated 125 A at 40 °C, with a 50 kA breaking capacity at 800 V AC — that N performance level means it clears faults up to 50 kA without upstream cascading, sized for solar distribution panels where high short-circuit currents are expected. The LSI electronic trip unit (ETU) provides three protection curves: L for overload, S for short-time delay (selectivity), and I for instantaneous short-circuit. Thermal memory is built in, so the breaker remembers prior heating and trips faster on repeat overloads — useful for PV strings where partial shading can cause repeated current swings. Rated operational voltage is 800 V AC 50/60 Hz per IEC 60947-2, with an insulation voltage of 1250 V AC.
