The XPSMCMER0002G is a Preventa safety module from the Modicon MCM range, delivering 2 relay outputs (2 NO + 1 NC) rated for safety functions up to SIL 3 per IEC 61508, PL e per ISO 13849-1, and Category 4. It runs on a 24 VDC supply and terminates via spring-clamp terminals on a removable block. The module is rated for 10 gn shock (16 ms, 1000 shocks per axis) per IEC 61496-1, making it suitable for machine-mounted applications with high vibration.

Compared to the XPSMCMER0008, which provides 8 relay outputs (8 NO + 4 NC) with screw terminals, the XPSMCMER0002G is the compact choice for smaller safety actuator groups. The 2-relay variant uses spring-clamp terminals and a removable block, while the 8-relay version uses captive screw terminals and a fixed block.
