Washdown-ready detection in a 30 mm barrel
The Telemecanique Sensors XS530B1PAM12 is an M30 shielded inductive proximity sensor from the XS5 series, built to handle high-pressure washdown environments. With IP69K sealing and a nickel-plated brass body, it shrugs off the spray and keeps detecting reliably. Rated for 12-24V DC with a PNP normally-open output capable of 200 mA, it feeds directly into a PLC input. The shielded face limits the sensing field to 10 mm, so it sees the target without crosstalk in tight mounting arrangements.
Connection and compliance
Terminates with an integral M12 4-pin male connector — no separate pigtail needed. Three wires: brown (+), blue (0V), black (output). Built-in overload, reverse polarity, and short circuit protection reduce the risk of field failure from wiring mistakes. Listed under UL, certified CE and CSA, and complies with RoHS. The NEMA 4X enclosure rating matches the IP67/IP69K sealing for outdoor or wet indoor locations.
