The front face is IP20, so it's safe for finger-probe access inside a control panel, but the side clearance is zero — you can butt it directly against the adjacent device without derating.
Mounts by screw or snap-on onto a DIN rail. The solid terminals accept 2x (0.25 to 2.5 mm²) conductors, so you can loop a common feed through both terminals without a separate splice. Strip length is the usual 8-10 mm for spring-cage or screw-clamp; check the terminal marking on the part.
The headline number is 10 A at 24 V in AC-12 — that's the resistive load rating, the one that governs when you're switching control transformers, indicator lamps, or small solenoid valves. But the contactor also carries ratings at higher voltages: 6 A at 230 V, 3 A at 400 V, and 1 A at 690 V. Those are the AC-15 or AC-14 inductive curves, so if you're switching contactor coils or small motors, use the 230 V or 400 V column, not the 24 V number. The operating temperature range is -25 to +60 °C, storage -55 to +80 °C, and it's rated for altitude up to 2000 m without derating.
