The coil is rated 24 VDC, pulling 4.4 VA at 50 Hz and drawing 10 A at 24 V for the main contacts. At 400 V it switches 3 A, and at 230 V it handles 6 A — so for a typical 400 V three-phase motor circuit this contactor is sized for smaller loads up to roughly 2 kW, depending on the duty class. Spring-loaded terminals on the main circuit accept 2x 0.25 to 2.5 mm² solid or stranded wire — no screw torque to verify, which speeds up panel wiring and reduces the chance of a loose connection on a vibrating line.
Snap it onto a 35 mm DIN rail or screw-mount it — the Size S00 footprint (72 mm deep, 45 mm wide, 60 mm tall) leaves room for auxiliary contact blocks alongside. That covers most panel layouts, including swing frames and angled sub-panels. Front face is IP20 — finger-safe for the panel interior, but not for washdown environments.
Switching Performance and Ratings
Above that, air density affects arc extinction and dielectric strength — not an issue for most plants, but worth noting for high-altitude installations.
