SIRIUS power contactor, Size S00 — 24 VDC coil, spring-loaded terminals
The main circuit uses spring-loaded terminals accepting 2x (0.25 to 2.5 mm²) solid or stranded conductors — no screw torque to verify, which speeds panel wiring and reduces loose-connection callbacks. Rated coil voltage is 24 VDC; the pickup ratio is 0.85 of rated value and the dropout ratio is 1.1 of rated value, meaning the contactor pulls in reliably at about 20.4 V and drops out above 26.4 V — a wide hysteresis that prevents chatter on a sagging 24 V bus. DC switching ratings are given per voltage point: 10 A at 24 V, 2 A at 60 V, 1 A at 110 V, 0.3 A at 220 V, and 0.8 A at 440 V. These are the make/break capacities for DC loads — the 24 V rating covers solenoid valves and DC motor brakes, while the higher-voltage ratings suit DC bus switching in drives or UPS systems.
Mounting position allows a vertical mounting surface with +/-180° rotation and +/-30° tilt front-to-back, giving flexibility for panel layouts where the contactor sits on a swing frame or angled subpanel. The auxiliary contact block has one NC and one NO contact, each rated 12 A. The instantaneous contact count is zero — meaning no built-in auxiliary contacts on the main block; the listed NC/NO are the only ones provided. For applications needing additional aux contacts or a mechanical latch, the Size S00 platform accepts Siemens add-on blocks without tools.
