It carries an integral auxiliary switch and terminates via screw-type terminals on both coil and main contacts, accepting solid or stranded wire from 0.5 to 4 mm² (single or 2x parallel up to 4 mm²).
Ratings that drive the selection
Rated operational current at 24 V is 10 A; at 400 V it drops to 3 A. The 230 V horsepower rating is 0.75 hp — useful for small motor switching in control panels. Mechanical life is typical 30 million operations. Switching frequency varies by duty: AC-1 (resistive) allows 1000 ops/h, AC-3 and AC-3e (motor starting) allow 750 ops/h, AC-4 (plugging/inching) is limited to 250 ops/h. That 750 ops/h AC-3 ceiling means it handles moderate cycling on conveyor or pump duty without derating. Arcing time spans 10 to 15 ms at AC — a fast enough break for standard motor circuits. The coil holds at 0.25 A on both 50 and 60 Hz supplies, so the same coil works across line frequencies without recalculation.
Deployment context — panel and environment
This matters when the contactor must fit into a slanted sub-panel or a swing-frame. The Size S00 frame and 45 mm width let it sit alongside other SIRIUS components on the same DIN rail without wasting rail space — common in MCC-style control cabinets.
