Panel-fit note for the S00 frame
The Siemens SIRIUS 3RT2017-1CK64-3MA0 is a size S00 power contactor — the smallest frame in the SIRIUS family, at 45 mm wide and 58 mm tall, with a 117 mm depth.
Terminals accept solid or stranded copper: 0.5 to 4 mm² single conductor, or two conductors per clamp (2x 0.5–1.5 mm², 2x 0.75–2.5 mm², or 2x 4 mm²). The screw-type terminals are the same style used across the S00 range, so wire preparation and torque specs are consistent if your panel already uses SIRIUS contactors. No auxiliary switch is built in — if you need aux contacts, they mount separately on the side.
Switching rates and thermal limits
Rated for 1,000 operations per hour at AC-1 (resistive loads), 750 ops/h at AC-2 and AC-3 (motor starting/running), and 250 ops/h at AC-4 (plugging/inching). The arcing time sits between 10 and 15 ms at AC.
