Terminal wiring — spring-type coil and dual-wire capacity
The 3RT2018-2AK64-3MA0: The magnet coil connects via spring-type terminals — no screw torque to check, just strip and push.
Switching frequency and duty class limits
These are the thermal limits of the contactor — exceeding them on a fast-cycle application like a press or crane drive will overheat the arc chamber.
Auxiliary contacts — none built in
This contactor ships without an auxiliary switch block — the main contact set is the only switching element. If you need feedback or interlock signals, you'll add a side-mounted auxiliary contact block from the SIRIUS S00 range. Plan the DIN rail space for that add-on.
Electrical life depends on the switching duty (AC-1 vs AC-3 vs AC-4) and the load current; for a typical motor-starting application at rated current, expect several hundred thousand operations before contact replacement.
