What it is and what it does
The Siemens 3RT2018-2AP62 is a SIRIUS power contactor in size S00, designed for switching motor and resistive loads in industrial control panels. It carries spring-type terminals on the magnet coil, so no screwdriver is needed for the coil wiring — a time-saver on the panel build or a field swap. Rated at 10 A at 24 V (AC-1 duty), it handles resistive loads up to that current. The AC-3 switching frequency maxes out at 750 operations per hour, which covers most conveyor and pump cycling without derating.
Mounting and integration
Fastens by screw or snap-on onto 35 mm DIN rail per DIN EN 60715. The mounting position is flexible: ±180° rotation on a vertical surface, and can be tilted forward/backward ±22.5° on vertical. Clearance requirements are 10 mm upwards, 10 mm downwards, 10 mm forwards, and 6 mm at the side — tight enough for a crowded panel. Dimensions: 70 mm high, 45 mm wide, 73 mm deep. Solid or stranded wire from 0.5 to 4 mm² fits the terminals; dual-wire entry (2x 0.5–4 mm²) is supported for looping through.

Operating temperature from -25 to +60 °C, storage from -55 to +80 °C. The storage range is wider — that limit governs handling and shipping, not running.
