Panel fit and mounting
The 3RT2023-1BB44-ZX95: Mounts via screw or snap-on onto 35 mm DIN rail per DIN EN 60715. The S0 frame measures 45 mm wide by 85 mm tall by 151 mm deep — that depth is the dimension to watch when sizing the enclosure depth. Clearance requirements: 10 mm upwards, 10 mm downwards, 10 mm forwards, and 6 mm at the side. The mounting position allows +/-180° rotation on a vertical surface and can be tilted forward/backward by +/-22.5° on a vertical surface, giving flexibility for tight layouts.
Switching performance and life
Rated for 1 000 switching cycles per hour under AC-1, AC-2, AC-3, and AC-3e duty, and 300 cycles per hour under AC-4 duty — the heavier AC-4 category (frequent starting/plugging) halves the allowable rate. Mechanical life is 10 000 000 operations typical. Arcing time is 10 ms. For DC switching, the contactor handles 6 A at 24 V, 2 A at 48 V, 2 A at 60 V, 1 A at 110 V, 0.9 A at 125 V, 0.3 A at 220 V, and 3 A at 400 V. At 230 V it's rated for 1 hp motor load.
Wiring and environment
Main contact terminals accept solid or stranded wire from 1 to 10 mm². The coil screw terminals accept 2x (0.5 to 1.5 mm²) or 2x (0.75 to 2.5 mm²) fine-stranded. Torque for main contacts is 16 to 8 Nm. Operating temperature range is -25 to +60 °C; storage range is -55 to +80 °C. No auxiliary switch is built into this variant — if you need aux contacts, that's a separate order.
