The contactor is in current lifecycle stage — still an active catalog line, not phased out. Spring-type terminals on the magnet coil speed up wiring: accept solid or stranded conductors from 1 to 10 mm², and 2x (0.5... 2.5 mm²) for the auxiliary circuit.
Switching ratings — what the duty classes mean for your load
Rated for AC-1, AC-2, AC-3, and AC-3e duty up to 1 000 switching cycles per hour, and AC-4 at 300 cycles per hour. AC-3 covers standard squirrel-cage motor starting and stopping; the 1 000 cycles/h rating means it handles frequent jogging or inching without overheating. AC-4 (plugging/reversing) at 300 cycles/h reflects the higher electrical stress from counter-current braking. Auxiliary switch included as standard — 18... 8 AWG for main contacts, with switching capacity at 24 V rated 10 A, 230 V rated 3 hp, and 400 V rated 3 A. The 10 ms arcing time is consistent across the range.
Panel integration — mounting and clearances
Minimum clearances: 10 mm upwards, downwards, and forwards; 6 mm at the side. This gives the panel builder room to route cables and maintain airflow.
