Ratings and Duty Cycles
Maximum switching frequency is 1,000 cycles per hour for AC-1, AC-2, AC-3, and AC-3e duty, dropping to 300 cycles per hour for AC-4 — the more severe plugging and inching duty. This tells you the contactor is sized for continuous motor starting (AC-3) at a high rate, but heavy reversing or jogging applications will need to respect the lower AC-4 limit. The contactor carries no built-in auxiliary switch block; if you need auxiliary contacts, they must be added as a separate module.
