It is sized for line protection in distribution panels and switchgear where the interrupting capacity must match the available fault current — 75.6 kA at 240 V, 52.5 kA at 415 V, and 32 kA at 440 V, tapering to 7.5 kA at 500 V and 690 V.
The breaker carries its full 32 A rating from 40 °C up to 50 °C, then derates to 31 A at 55 °C and 60 °C, and to 30 A at 65 °C and 70 °C. That means in a warm panel — say with other breakers dissipating heat — you still get 30 A at 70 °C ambient without tripping early. Maximum power loss is 10.6 W. The 70 mm depth, 76.2 mm width, and 130 mm height fit standard 3-pole MCCB footprints on DIN rail or panel-mount bases.
