What this SENTRON switch disconnector is — and isn't
The Siemens 3VA1112-1AA32-0AH0 is a 3-pole switch disconnector in the SENTRON 3VA1 family, IEC frame 160, rated for 125 A continuous current (Iu). It is not a molded case circuit breaker — there is no overload release or short-circuit protection built in. This is a pure isolation and switching device, intended for applications where the upstream protection is already provided by a separate MCCB or fuse, and you need a local disconnect for safe maintenance isolation.
Termination and aux contact configuration
Main circuit connection is via busbar connection on the front terminals — this is a panel-mount part designed for busbar systems, not cable lugs. Motor drive is available as an optional field-addable extension. Dimensions are 70 mm deep, 76.2 mm wide, 130 mm tall — the same footprint as the 3VA1 MCCB variants, so it drops into the same panel cutout and busbar layout.
