It provides no overload or short-circuit protection — its job is isolation and switching under load, not fault interruption. The part carries a short-time withstand rating of 2 kA for 1 s and 2 kA for 0.5 s, meaning it can survive a fault long enough for an upstream breaker to clear, but it is not a circuit breaker itself.

Undervoltage release and auxiliary options
Factory-fitted with a 24 V DC undervoltage release (UVR). No auxiliary contacts are fitted (0 CO contacts), and no trip indicator or communication module is present. The front terminal accepts busbar connection for the main circuit. An optional motor drive can be added for remote switching.
