The Siemens SENTRON 3VA1132-3EF32-0BH0 is a 3-pole molded case circuit breaker rated for 32 A continuous current (Iu) at 40 °C, with a TM240 thermal-magnetic overcurrent release and an integrated undervoltage release (UVR). It's a line-protection device, so it's built for feeder and distribution duty — not motor-protection curves, not ground-fault monitoring. The interrupting ratings are solid: 75.6 kA at 240 V, 52.5 kA at 415 V, 32 kA at 440 V, and 10.5 kA at 690 V. That gives you real SCCR headroom for panel coordination studies, especially on 480 V or 415 V systems where the 52.5 kA figure covers most utility-fault scenarios.
Panel fit and physical integration
The 3VA1132-3EF32-0BH0 measures 70 mm deep, 76.2 mm wide, and 130 mm high.
Temperature derating — the real continuous current
Rated 32 A up to 50 °C. Above that, the TM240 release starts to back off: 30.72 A at 55 °C, 30.08 A at 60 °C, 29.44 A at 65 °C, and 28.8 A at 70 °C.
