Switch disconnector for panel isolation
The Siemens 3VA1163-1AA36-0AD0 is a SENTRON switch disconnector in an MCCB-style housing — IEC frame 160, 3-pole, rated for 63 A continuous current. It's built for safe isolation of downstream loads in distribution panels, not for overload or short-circuit protection (no trip unit fitted). The 690 V AC / 500 V DC rating covers most industrial supply voltages; the 3 auxiliary switches HQ give feedback for status indication or interlocking.
The 3 auxiliary switches HQ (3 CO contacts) are built-in, so no separate auxiliary block is needed for panel feedback. The IP40 front protection means it's suitable for indoor panel mounting but not washdown areas.
The 3VA1 frame uses front terminal connections for the main circuit — clamp-type terminals accept copper conductors.
