At 40 °C it holds 200 A continuous without derating, and it only drops to 194 A at 55 °C and 176 A at 70 °C — so in a warm panel you still get nearly full rated current. Interrupting capacity is the headline: 187 kA at 240 V, 121 kA at 415 V, 75.6 kA at 440 V, 30 kA at 500 V, and 17 kA at 690 V.
Sizing and thermal performance
The TM240 release is set for 200 A frame, but the actual trip curve depends on the thermal element — you get full 200 A up to 50 °C, then a gentle 3 % reduction per 5 °C step to 176 A at 70 °C. That thermal roll-off is standard for molded-case breakers; the 42 W maximum power loss gives a heat budget for enclosure ventilation planning.
Dimensions: 105 mm wide, 158 mm high, 70 mm deep. That 70 mm depth keeps it within standard 200 mm deep enclosures — no need for a deeper gland plate. Comes with 2 auxiliary switches HQ factory-fitted, so you get status feedback without adding a separate accessory block.
