The Siemens 3VA1463-5EF32-0KB0 is a 3-pole IEC frame 630 molded-case circuit breaker with a 55 kA breaking capacity at 415 V (class M). It carries a TM240 thermal-magnetic trip unit rated at 630 A continuous, with overload protection adjustable from 440 A to 630 A and short-circuit pickup adjustable from 4 to 8 × In. This order code also includes a shunt trip (left-side, 208–277 V AC / 220–250 V DC) and two auxiliary changeover switches, plus a nut keeper kit for secure panel mounting.
The TM240 thermal-magnetic trip gives you fixed thermal protection for overloads (Ir = 440–630 A) and adjustable magnetic pickup for short-circuits (Ii = 2520–5040 A based on the 4–8 × In range). That adjustability lets you coordinate selectively with downstream breakers, so only the faulted branch opens.
