Breaking capacity and what it means for your fault level
Those numbers tell you it's rated for high-fault-current installations — think industrial mains or transformer secondaries where prospective short-circuit current can exceed 100 kA. The 690 V rating also covers 600 V class北美 systems without derating the interrupt rating.
Trip unit and N-conductor protection
The ETU350 is an electronic trip unit with LSI protection curves — long-time, short-time, and instantaneous. N-conductor protection is adjustable: OFF or 100%, so you can set it for a fully rated neutral or leave it unprotected depending on the system grounding. No ground-fault monitoring version, no undervoltage release, no communication function — this is a plain-vanilla line-protection breaker, not a smart or GFCI variant.
Temperature derating — the full band
No derating needed across the normal panel temperature range. Maximum power loss is 0.5 W — negligible for panel heat budgeting.
