It carries a continuous current rating of 25 A across the full ambient range from 40 °C to 70 °C — no derating needed up to that ceiling — and interrupts faults at 187 kA at 240 V, 121 kA at 415/440 V, and 75.6 kA at 500 V, with a 3.7 kA rating at 690 V. That interrupting capacity covers most industrial service-entrance and sub-feed applications without cascading upstream breakers.
Panel footprint and integration
The 3VA2125-5HM32-0AA0 measures 105 mm wide, 181 mm high, and 86 mm deep — a standard SENTRON 3VA footprint that fits existing 3VA cutouts and busbar systems. The 3-pole body accepts line-side lugs or plug-in bases common to the 3VA platform, so a panel already tooled for a 3VA frame accepts this unit without re-drilling gland plates or re-spacing DIN-rail assemblies.
Ground-fault monitoring variant
This order code includes a summation-current ground-fault monitoring function — the L-conductor summation method — which detects residual currents by summing the phase currents through a common core. It does not include undervoltage release, trip indicator, communication, or voltage-triggered functions, so if your BOM calls for those, this is the wrong variant.
