Siemens SENTRON 3VA2140-5HK46-0AA0 — 40 A MCCB with ETU340 Trip Unit
Four poles, line-protection design, fitted with the ETU340 electronic trip unit. Breaking capacity reaches 187 kA at 240 VAC and 121 kA at 415/440 VAC, dropping to 75.6 kA at 500 V and 3.7 kA at 690 V. Insulation voltage rated at 800 V. Front-side IP40 protection. Current-production status per the manufacturer.
At 415/440 V the 121 kA symmetrical rating still covers most industrial main and sub-main applications. The sharp drop to 3.7 kA at 690 V means this is not a 690 V main breaker; it is a 400/480 V class device. The ETU340 electronic trip unit supports adjustable long-time, short-time, and instantaneous pickup, plus ground-fault alarm or trip when paired with an external module (the base unit ships without ground-fault monitoring).
Marked as current-production by the manufacturer. This is not an NRND or obsolete line — the 3VA series is the active SENTRON MCCB generation.
Dimensions: 181 mm height, 140 mm width, 86 mm depth. Four-pole form factor with line-side and load-side lug terminals.
