What this MCCB does on the line
This variant includes ground-fault monitoring via summation current formation on the L+N conductor, so it detects leakage to earth without a separate core-balance CT. That saves a DIN-rail slot and simplifies wiring in panels where ground-fault protection is required by code or plant standard.
The breaker delivers 440 kA at 240 V, 330 kA at 415 V and 440 V, 220 kA at 500 V, and 52.5 kA at 690 V. That curve tells you the device is designed for low-voltage distribution where the highest fault energy occurs at the lower end of the voltage range — typical for 400/415 V three-phase industrial grids.
Thermal performance and panel integration
The 86 mm depth and 140 mm width fit standard SENTRON 3VA mounting footprints — check gland-plate cutouts against the 181 mm height before laying out the backpanel. Maximum power loss is 3.1 W, which keeps heat dissipation low enough that adjacent devices in a dense DIN-rail layout don't need extra spacing for thermal management.
