Siemens 3VM1010-3ED46-0AA2 — 100 A 4-Pole MCCB with TM210 Release
Its TM210 thermal-magnetic release provides LI protection (long-time and instantaneous), making it a straight line-protection device without ground-fault or communication functions. The interrupting ratings tell the real story here: 76 kA at 240 V AC, 53 kA at 415 V AC, 32 kA at 440 V AC, and 7.5 kA at 500 V AC. The 100 A frame is the maximum for this size class.
Panel Fit & Thermal Derating
The breaker uses box terminals for the main circuit, front-connected. That is the standard pattern for panel-mounted MCCBs — you land the cables on the front face, not a rear bus. Thermal derating is published: 100 A holds flat from 40 °C through 50 °C, then drops to 98 A at 55 °C, 96 A at 60 °C, 94 A at 65 °C, and 91 A at 70 °C. If your panel ambient runs 55 °C, you lose 2 A. That is tight but manageable — just do not assume the full 100 A at the top of the operating range. Rated insulation voltage is 690 V, and maximum operational voltage is 500 V AC (50/60 Hz) or 500 V DC. That 500 V DC rating is worth noting for battery-bank or UPS applications — not every MCCB carries a DC rating this high.
