What this MCCB is and what it does
The Siemens 3VM1132-3EE32-0AA0 is a 3-pole SENTRON molded case circuit breaker (MCCB) rated for line protection, with a TM220 thermal-magnetic overcurrent release. It carries a continuous current of 32 A at 40 °C and holds that rating up to 50 °C; at 55 °C it derates to 31 A, and at 70 °C to 30 A. The interrupting capacity hits 76 kA at 240 V AC, 53 kA at 415 V, 32 kA at 440 V, and 12 kA at 500 V — so the available fault current at the panel dictates which voltage column you use for sizing. Insulation voltage is rated 800 V, and the front face carries IP40 protection, meaning it's protected against tools and small wires but not against water spray.
Panel fit and mounting
The breaker measures 130 mm high, 76.2 mm wide, and 70 mm deep. That 70 mm depth is the dimension that matters when you're laying out the gland plate or checking clearance against a closed panel door. Three-pole construction means it occupies a single 76.2 mm wide slot in the distribution board — standard for a 32 A MCCB in a SENTRON panel.
