Breaker spec at a glance
The Siemens 3VM1132-3EE42-0AA0 is a 4-pole IEC frame 160 molded case circuit breaker rated 32 A continuous, with a 25 kA interrupting capacity at 415 V AC (breaking class N). That 25 kA rating means it can safely clear a fault up to that level without welding contacts or rupturing the case — critical for panel protection in industrial distribution where fault currents run high. Overload protection uses a TM220 thermal-magnetic trip unit adjustable from 22 A to 32 A (Ir). Short-circuit magnetic pickup is fixed at 10× In. The N conductor is unprotected.
Lifecycle and compliance
RoHS compliant since June 2012. REACH Article 33 disclosure applies: lead (CAS 7439-92-1) above 0.1% w/w in the product. No special export restrictions (AL: N / ECCN: N).
Panel fit and integration
The 3VM1 frame 160 mounts into standard panel cutouts for IEC molded case breakers. Packaging dimensions are 150 × 119 × 116 mm — that gives you the envelope for DIN-rail or backplate mounting. The nut keeper kit is included, which saves time on panel assembly vs sourcing separate hardware.
